| Bob 70-71 | April 200130 April Last month I added Rotherham manager, Ronnie Moore (Tranmere Rovers). This month it's the turn of his son Ian Moore of Burnley - see Next Generation As there has been a recent change to the Crystal Palace job (see News) I've also added Dario Gradi (Sutton United), the Crewe Alexandria manager to the pages, as I read somewhere (goodness knows where now) that he was a Sutton United player in the 70-71 season ! Indeed, he was in the side that Leeds United beat 6-0 in the FA Cup 3rd round in 1969-70. 26 April I don't always get chance to do this, but thanks mainly to pictures sent by Ian Corry, Eusebio not only now has his own page - but there's a fabulous story about his debut for Benfica. Whilst looking at promotion and relegation stories, I found George Wood was at East Stirling and Jim Jeffries - though yet to play - was indeed a player at Hearts in 1970-71.Hence, I've added them to the pages. I've also added a new picture to Geoff Hurst's page, of his famous World Cup hatrick goal. 23 April Thanks to yet more pictures from Billy Green, Billy now has his own page - which includes an article he wrote which appears in this month's 'Hammers News'. Billy is seen with both Billy Bonds and Trevor Brooking. 19 April Thanks to Billy Green, there's some new West Ham United images to be seen, on Martin Peters' and Bobby Moore's pages, and Frank Lampard (Senior) now has his own page. 17 April The recent demise of Themestream's site means that the articles 'Billy and the Number 4 Shirt' and 'Online Oddity or Wonder of the Web ?' are now a part of this site. And thanks to the efforts of Richard Bowen, there is a new article on his first ever match, Spurs versus West Ham United on the first day of the 1970-71 season. 8 April Thanks to Billy Green, West Ham United now have a team picture and thanks to Mitch Charles, West Ham's John Charles now has his own page. Thanks to both of you. 3 April Finally got the 'Thirty Years Ago !' feature back up to date. So for the first time you can read the news from January-June 1970, July 1970, March 1971 and April 1971.
