Keith Weller Chelsea

All the Best Keith !

Alan Birchenall reports that Keith Weller, now living in Seattle, is not well. Anyone wanting to send good wishes to Keith, should write to Alan Birchenall, Leicester City, Filbert Street, Leicester LE2 7FL, who will pass it on.

Also ...

Bookings have NOT gone too far ... that is the decision of the readers of Bob's 70-71 Pages. 41 per cent of you prefer the modern day namby-pamby booking system when contact is made and the ball is missed, and 17 per cent of you even agreed that a player should be booked even if a modern player is looked at in a funny way !

Only 25 per cent believed a booking should only be given if it is obvious a bone is broken, and most of them were me... I suspect the David Beckham and Gary Neville decisions swung the vote. Neither aggressor in these decisions was sent off and most of the public was miffed, so the writing was on the wall.
