Top Bob 2002 - Sir Bobby Robson

Voting for the Top Bob was brought to an abrupt end when BeSeen decided to end their Quizlet service! Thanks to a late surge Sir Bobby Robson was the shock winner, pulling ahead of last year's winner John Lambie in the final week. Bobby doubtless won the vote for taking Newcastle United to 4th in last season's Premiership - and getting a knighthood this summer. Well done Bobby !

Previous winners 2000: Sir Alex Ferguson, 2001 John Lambie.

Special Bob - Peter Lorimer

This year's Special Bob Award - the webmaster's own choice, goes to Peter Lorimer, for his Yorkshire Evening Post column, which makes the Friday edition a must-buy, and his occasional Radio Leeds commentries.

Previous winners 2000: Eddie Gray; 2001 Norman Hunter. (Spot the Leeds United fan.)

'Just to let you and your readers know that my new book on all LEYTON ORIENT first team players 1904-2002 is now out with over 540 pages of information on each player and their O's and career playing records. The book took 6 years to complete.'

Details available from Leyton Orient FC or Neil's publisher TEMPUS PUBLISHING in Stroud.
