New additions -
the following have been added to the Sons

Gabby
Logan
Gabby Logan - daughter of Terry
Yorath (LeedsUnited) - has been appearing as a
presenter on television more and more such as on the
Saturday edition of The Premierhip on ITV1.
But the loss of rights to Premiership football has
meant that On the Ball is to finish at the
end of the season. The programme has been running 6
years since its relaunch, having previously closed in
1992.
During
January, Gabby was featured in The Times
Saturday Sports section doing the 'The Betting
Challenge', where three guests are asked to compete
against each other with theorhetical betting of 500
pounds on the outcomes of any three matches of their
choice. Gabby went into the final week in the lead,
but lost out to reader, Marik Sangha.
Over 4
weeks, Gabby's 500 pounds turned into just 248
pounds. Marik won with 301 pounds, almost entirely
due to predicting Man U v Southampton would produce 4
goals at 15-8. Tony Cascarino was the last placed.
Martin

March 2004 Martin Allen, son of Dennis Allen (Bournemouth), became manager of Brentford of Division

Barnet, who were 5th when he left. He takes over from
Wally Downes, manager since June 2002. Brentford are
involved in the relegation battle this season, placed

Northwood
3 Hayes 4
Or should that read Northwood 3 Peter Holsgrove 4?
Hayes went into the "Battle of Hillingdon
Borough" at Chestnut Avenue with just one change
from the side that beat Canvey on Tuesday night, and
what a change it turned out to be. Josh Scott being
overseas with the England Colleges side, his place
went to top scorer Peter Holsgrove.
With
a quarter of an hour played, (Hayes) took the lead,
David Warner chased and won possession on the right
of the area before crossing from the byeline for
Holsgrove to hit the ball into the roof of the net
giving Bullivant no chance.
The second half looked like it was going to be a
struggle as the wind. although swirling, was
essentially in the home sides favour. This however
did not dissuade Hayes and by the time twenty minutes
of the half had been played Holsgrove had completed
his hat-trick. On 56 minutes he was found in the area
by a Warner right wing cross, brought the ball down
before turning and slotting home. Eight minutes later
he completed his hat-trick, Molesley slipped a ball
into his run and despite being forced very wide by
the onrushing Bullivant he kept his cool and found
the vacant net from the left side of the box.
The story was ... to take another sharp turn in
injury time, substitute Matt Gray found himself in
possession in the middle of the park and using the
wind fed the ball between the Northwood centre-backs
for Holsgrove to run and hit his fourth past the
desparing dive of Bullivant and send the Hayes
travelling fans into a frenzy.
Report by Kevin Watts.
