Tarcisio Burgnich was one of great defenders in Italian football.

He played for Juventus and won his first Scudetto (1960-61).

Juventus discarded him because he had a poor skill playing the ball.

After few years in Palermo, Inter Milan bought him.

At Inter he played with other great defenders like Armando Picchi, Giacinto Facchetti, Aristide Guarneri and Inter Milan won twice Champions Cup an Europa- Sud America Cup (1964-65).

In Italy’s National Team he had a good career : 66 caps and 2 goals.

He scored very few goals in his career but one of these it is one of the most important in the Story of italian football.
